The Chicago Titans got a good effort from starter Mai Do in defeating the Acapulco Banditos at The War Dome. The final score was 4-1. Do, now 1-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 4, and allowing no earned runs. The save was credited to Kichibei Endo, his 2nd.

Eric Humphrey brought the hometown crowd to its feet with two out in the bottom of the first. That's when the 30-year old center fielder belted a 3-run home run. With the round-tripper, the Titans took the lead, 3-0.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Do said.

With the win, Chicago improves its record to 3-4.
