Raiders Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
The Reno Raiders bested the Minneapolis Freeze, 7-5, at House of Pain. Andrew Green was named player of the game. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reno reliever Anandam Ramanathan got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Noel Blackwell was tagged with the loss. At 4-2, the Raiders have played well so far.
Green had a big at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second inning. With his team down, 3-2, the designated hitter hit a 2-run single to put Reno ahead.
"I like our mindset right now," said Reno manager Chris Brading.
