Omaha Raptors starter Roosevelt Roberts turned in a top-notch performance against the Detroit Death Stars at The Death Star. The result was a win for the Raptors, 3-2. In 5 innings, Roberts surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The Raptors, now 4-1, have hit the ground running this season.
Also having an impact was third baseman Stanley Harvey, who stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth for Omaha. For the game, Harvey was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"That's baseball," said Detroit manager David Parker. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
