Raiders Pin 10-7 Loss on Freeze
|
Reno starter Almas bin Su'ud pitched effectively against the Minneapolis Freeze at House of Pain. The right-hander led his team to a 10-7 win. The winning pitcher was bin Su'ud, now 1-0. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. Li-zhu Kuang earned the save, his 1st.
Chipping in for Reno was first baseman Andrew Green. He stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the first. For the game, Green went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"We all want to win," said bin Su'ud. "We all want to do our part."
With the win, Reno pushes its record to 2-2.
