Reno and Omaha met at Anchorage Municipal Stadium in front of a lively crowd.

The Reno Raiders clobbered the Omaha Raptors, 14-1, at Anchorage Municipal Stadium today. Reno left fielder Charlie Hide was named player of the game for his productive day. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The winner was Théophile Richard, who threw 100 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 2 hits.

Reno third baseman Casey Freemann helped the Raiders to the win. In the top of the fourth inning, the 28-year old second baseman stroked a 2-run home run. For the game, Freemann went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

Said losing manager Manuel Ruíz: "Give the Raiders credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
