The Astoria Argonauts stopped the Peoria Caterpillars, 7-2, at Excavatar Park. The Argonauts got a big game from Marc Dale, who was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Astoria reliever Jordan Gradilla got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ryan Shelton was tagged with the loss.

Dale contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Astoria in the top of the eighth. With his team trailing 2-1, Dale took a fastball from Ryan Shelton and stroked the home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Argonauts to leap in front, 3-2.
