Ríos Helps Blazers Beat Mustangs
|
The Bloomington Blazers easily defeated the Mile High Mustangs, 13-4, at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park, with third baseman Pablo Ríos a main contributor to the win. He was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Bloomington. The Mustangs, now 7-8, continue their slow start.
Bloomington left fielder Arnold Layne made his contribution to the Blazers cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first inning. For the day, Layne was 1 for 4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
