The Scranton Escape knocked off the Chicago Titans, 7-3, at Hell Stadium. Kadambi Patterjee, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Scranton won. The catcher was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The loss drops Chicago to 0-2.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the second inning. That's when first baseman Il-hwan Kim hit a sacrifice fly. The Escape went on to win.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Scranton skipper Julián Cancil.
