Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Beavers
Portland starter Terry Hill put a stranglehold on the New York offense. The right-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Beavers to a 2-1 win. The win brings the Beavers to 7-11, a soft start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Alex Lontok had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the 11th. The Portland third baseman came through with a run-scoring double to put Portland in front, 2-1.

"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said Lontok.
