Coal Miners Get Road Win, 4-3
|
Bronx Ballpark was the site of the home opener for the Bronx Bombers. The contest featured a prime matchup between Matsuyo Koda of the visiting Antioch Coal Miners and Ángel Ruíz of the Bombers. The final score was 4-3, the Coal Miners getting the win. Earning player of the game honors was Matsuyo Koda. Koda, now 1-0, was the winner.
