Vancouver Pioneers starter Carlos León was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Bloomington Blazers, 5-2. León picked up the win for Vancouver, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Todd Couch sewed up the save, his 3rd.
Mun-wah Lok went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs against the Blazers. In the top of the first inning, he hit a run-scoring single, putting Vancouver in front, 1-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Lok.
The third-place Pioneers improved to 85-76.
