Black Knights 2B Lussu goes 3-for-4 in Win
It was a good time at Blue Ivy Stadium, where fans came to watch the New York Mafia and Brooklyn Black Knights get after it.

Getting a good performance from second baseman Vittoriano Lussu, the Brooklyn Black Knights defeated the New York Mafia, 6-1. Lussu was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Black Knights. At 86-75, the Black Knights find themselves in third place in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division.

The Black Knights got a big at-bat from left fielder Fernando Murillo. For the game, Murillo was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Brooklyn a 3-1 lead.

Lussu called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
