The Eureka Hornets picked up a win at The Death Star, knocking off the Georgia Grays, 5-4. Starting pitcher Pat Sheffield was an essential part of his team's success. Getting the save was Elliott Rogers, his 7th. The slumping Grays have lost 7 straight.

Ron Jeremy broke a 2-2 tie in the top of the third with a 2-run single. It put the Hornets in front, 4-2. For the game, Jeremy was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
