Mustangs Stay Hot, Beat Blazers
|
Starting pitcher James Jostle pitched well enough to help the Mile High Mustangs beat the Bloomington Blazers by the score of 5-4. Quan Que got the save, the 5th for him this season. The Blazers, at 5-11, have stumbled out of the gate.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the second inning. That's when third baseman Shunso Sato, who is tied for 2nd in the TML in home runs with 6, drew a walk. The Mustangs went on to win.
"It feels good to get this one," Sato told the Mile High Today.
