Rhinos Come Up Short at Dallas
|
Dallas third baseman Tzu-yu Xuan picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Rubber City Rhinos, 4-3. Josuke Fujihara got the win, improving to 5-3. He held the Rhinos to 1 earned run on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Adrien Clément locked down his 49th save.
With the game tied, 3-3, in the bottom of the fourth, Xuan had a key at-bat for Dallas. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Xuan, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in hits with 166, hit a run-scoring single off Sigfrid Arnim, making the score 4-3, Texans.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Rubber City manager Larry Johnson, "let me know."
With the win over Rubber City, the Texans improved to 82-71.
