The Dallas Texans and Seattle Sasquatch brought some excitement to Metroplex Park.

Seattle starter Dennis Montgomery put a stranglehold on the Dallas offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Sasquatch to a 4-1 win. The winning pitcher was Montgomery, now 9-14. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4.

Devayukta Pasapuleti's at-bat in the top of the third was significant, coming with runners on 1st and 2nd and the game tied, 0-0. The Seattle shortstop hit a run-scoring single off Paul Johnston to put the Sasquatch up.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Sasquatch manager Carl Best, "I like our chances."

Seattle is now 71-80, while Dallas is 80-70.
