Prowlers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Mustangs
|
The Oklahoma City Prowlers did just enough to sneak past the Mile High Mustangs, 4-3, at McNichols Stadium. Oklahoma City pitcher Manuel Crespo earned player of the game honors. Shu-yaan Qi finished the game for Oklahoma City and earned his 22nd save. With the win, the Prowlers have a record of 66-86.
Oklahoma City took a 4-3 lead on Eduardo López's 38th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which López hit in the top of the ninth, left Mile High pitcher Quan Que visibly frustrated.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Crespo.
