Josh Dronfield did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Rubber City Rhinos from losing, 5-4, to the Seattle Sasquatch at The Rubber Grounds. Dronfield was 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Seattle, at 70-79, occupies 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
Seattle pinch hitter Scott Stone had a game-changing at-bat in the top of the tenth. On a fastball from Shinzo Sasaki, he launched a 2-run home run. It gave Seattle a 5-3 lead.
"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Stone told the Seattle Observer.
