Vancouver Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss
|
Vancouver wasted a solid 7.1-inning effort from starting pitcher Kenko Samurakami, losing to Bloomington, 2-0, at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. The Pioneers, now 10-6, continue their sluggish start.
Bloomington took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Camden Mansel stroked a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Blazers.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Mansel.
