Rubber City Rhinos starter James Thompson turned in a sterling performance against the Brooklyn Black Knights, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Coco Yamashita locked down his 1st save. The second-place Rhinos have won 4 in a row.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Pete Bell contributed a big hit for the Rhinos. With Rubber City trailing 2-1, he hammered a solo home run.

"It's good to win," Bell told the Rubber City Bulletin. "I like to have fun doing it."
