The Brooklyn Black Knights got a stellar performance from pitcher Xiong Yang, who handcuffed the Oklahoma City offense en route to a 4-2 win at Blue Ivy Stadium. Yang, now 1-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Ti-an Dan was called on to finish, recording his 34th save.

Brooklyn took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and a runner on 1st, Todd McCarthy stroked a run-scoring double to make it 3-2, Black Knights.

After the game, Brooklyn manager Diego Aguirre applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

With the win over Oklahoma City, the Black Knights improved to 78-66.
