The Rhinos had to overcome a fine performance from Quebec pitcher Elmer Turner to grab a 5-4 win at The Rubber Grounds. Turner allowed 1 earned run over 7.1 innings. With the win, the Rhinos have a record of 79-64.
A defensive miscue in the bottom of the third cost the Armada. With Rubber City trailing 3-2, Pedro Martínez reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. Rubber City ended up winning the ballgame.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Quebec manager Jorge Morales.
