Grays Drop Another One
|
The umbrellas came out during the Seattle-Georgia contest at Sick's Stadium.
The Seattle Sasquatch downed the Georgia Grays, 7-3, at Sick's Stadium. The Sasquatch were led by Kazuyoshi Takahashi, who captured player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs. George Fortin earned his 35th save in 38 tries.
Robby Sanchez's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant for the Sasquatch. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Seattle leading 4-3, the center fielder hit a 2-run single.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Takahashi told the Seattle Observer.
Georgia has now lost 5 consecutive games.
