Late Rally by Blazers Secures Win
|
The Blazers had to overcome a good performance from Havana pitcher Ijaz Kharoti to claim a 4-3 win at The Humidor. Kharoti went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The winner was Bloomington reliever Joseph Kelley, now 2-2. The loser was Teguh Suharto. The Blazers improve their record to 74-70 with the win over Havana.
Norihisa Iwamoto made it 4-3 in favor of Bloomington when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the ninth. The Blazers went on to win.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Havana manager Reynaldo Vázquez said following the tough loss.
