Zorros Deals Brooklyn 5-0 Setback
|
The Brooklyn Black Knights and Mile High Mustangs were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at McNichols Stadium.
Mile High left-hander Alejandro Zorros was sensational in shutting out the Brooklyn Black Knights, 5-0. The third-place Mustangs have won 5 in a row.
Zorros, who dominated for Mile High, earned the victory to move to 11-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 7 innings, while striking out 6. Brooklyn batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Alejandro was throwing strikes, locating well," said Mile High manager Joe Ward.
