Rubber City rode a fine outing from starter Tom Hanson to victory over the Eureka Hornets at The Nest. The final score was 4-2. Shinzo Sasaki earned the save, his 35th, for the Rhinos. The Rhinos sit in second place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division with a record of 77-62.
Chipping in for Rubber City was first baseman Mike Davis. He stroked a single in the top of the third. For the game, Davis was 2-4 with 2 singles.
"Enjoyed this one," Hanson told the Rubber City Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
