The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Quebec fans at Lucky 7 Ballpark.
The Quebec Armada downed the Bloomington Blazers, 6-4, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The Armada were led by Matsudaira Shimada, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. Graeme Priday got credit for the win, improving to 6-2. He allowed 4 runs on 5 hits in 3 innings. Joachim Doucet finished the game for Quebec and earned his 36th save.
Bloomington had runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth. With two out, Lucifer Sam came to bat, hoping to do some damage. Instead, he grounded out. The score remained 6-4, Quebec. The Blazers saw their comeback bid fail.
