Marauders Top Mustangs, 6-3

Maple left-hander Ze-dong Zhang made an effective start against the Mile High Mustangs at Legends Park, leading his team to a 6-3 win. Maple reliever Maulik Shaw picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Sylvester Richardson absorbed the loss. Maple has now won 4 games in a row.
The Marauders used some clutch hitting to beat the Mustangs, a good example being the at-bat of Dante Deleón in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, Deleón gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he hit a run-scoring single.
"I like the roll we're on," said Maple manager Jesús Alfaro.
