Armada Cut Down Blazers, 5-2
|
Quebec Armada starter Mitsuo Kobayashi turned in a top-notch performance against the Bloomington Blazers at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The result was a win for the Armada, 5-2. Joachim Doucet earned the save for Quebec, his 35th of the year. With the win, Quebec has a record of 74-63. Bloomington falls to 71-66.
Shunso Fukuda took Loeck Jurgens deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Armada in front, 3-0. For the game, Fukuda was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Fukuda told the Quebec Today.
