Flores Delivers Walk-Off Win for Beavers
|
Portland right-hander Pedro Medina helped his team edge Bloomington by the score of 3-2. Medina kept the opposing lineup in check. Portland now has a 3-game win streak.
In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 2-2, second baseman Roberto Flores won it for Portland. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Flores hit a 2-0 cutter from Paco Berroa for a run-scoring double, giving his team a 3-2 win.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Medina said.
