Sanchez Leads Sasquatch to Win over Marauders
|
Seattle and Maple got after it at Sick's Stadium.
The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the Maple Marauders, 9-3, at Sick's Stadium today. Leading the charge for Seattle was center fielder Robby Sanchez. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Reliever Garth Daniels picked up the win. His record improves to 9-1. Ze-dong Zhang took the loss.
Sanchez in the bottom of the second had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Sasquatch leading 2-0, he hit a bases-clearing triple.
"Feels good to get the job done," Sanchez said after the game.
The second-place Marauders have dropped 4 straight games.
