The Bloomington Blazers easily defeated the Columbus Aces, 12-3, at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park, with left fielder Éric Cuny a main contributor to the win. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Bloomington. Rubén Cabrera picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-8. He struck out 5 in 7 innings. The Aces have now dropped 5 straight.
Making an impact for Bloomington was designated hitter Camden Mansel. He drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, Mansel was 2 for 5 with 2 singles.
