Marauders Stumble, Lose to Islanders
|
Hawaii Islanders starter Mikey Altman pitched a strong game against the Maple Marauders at Legends Park, leading the Islanders to a 8-3 win. Altman, the winner, moves to 8-4. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 5 walks. Hawaii is now 76-51, Maple 74-53.
Also pitching in for Hawaii was designated hitter Bagaskoro Pakpahan, who hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, Pakpahan went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Altman. "I think we showed that here."
