The So Cal Republic took Oklahoma City pitcher Caiden Greenshield's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Memorial Circle Park. The final score had So Cal getting past the Prowlers, 5-4. Greenshield went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 2. Tanner Johnson got the win, improving to 17-5. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 4. So Cal is now 83-45, 10 games up in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

Jong-min Kim Jr.'s hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a slider from Shu-yaan Qi for a run-scoring single. It put So Cal in front, 5-4.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said So Cal manager Munenori Sato.
