Bloomington left fielder Éric Cuny picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Columbus Aces, 8-7. The win was Davis Marés's in relief. His record improves to 2-1. José Gallegos took the loss for Columbus. Bloomington is 4th in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division with a record of 67-61.

The Blazers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the first. With no one out, Fernando Franco, who is tied for 3rd in the TML in runs scored with 81, hit a 2-run home run off José Gallegos, putting Bloomington in front, 2-1. For Franco, it was his 23rd home run of the season.
