It was a big day for Fernando Cruz and he brought the Havana Stogies along for the ride.

Cruz led his club to a 11-4 victory over the San Francisco Earthquakes today at Golden Gate Park, smoking San Francisco pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 30-year-old center fielder later called the victory "sweet."

Fernando Cruz hit a two-run home run off Jin-woo Pi in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
