The Bloomington Blazers bested the Vancouver Pioneers, 8-2, at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. Levi Meeuwenberg was named player of the game. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Bloomington now sits in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 66-61.
Bloomington catcher Eugene Axe helped the Blazers to the win. In the top of the fourth inning, the top prospect stroked a single. For the game, Axe went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
