Havana Makes It 10 Straight with 7-5 Win
Havana left fielder Si-dao Chi was instrumental in his team's 7-5 win over the Hawaii Islanders. Chi, who is tied for 7th in the RCL in extra base hits with 45, went 2-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Stogies. Teguh Suharto got credit for the save for Havana. It was his 45th of the year. The Stogies improved to a lofty 92-34.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out and the bases loaded, Havana right fielder Qian Thean hit a 2-run single, helping his team get the win.

"We'll keep riding this wave as long as we can," said Stogies manager Reynaldo Vázquez.
