Marauders Win Streak Reaches 7
|
Maple Marauders starter Will Caron pitched a strong game against the South Carolina Bombers at Bomber Ballpark, leading the Marauders to a 8-3 win. The Bombers, at 3-9, have stumbled out of the gate.
Gerard Leeder chipped in for Maple, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning. For the game, the second baseman was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Caron.
