Dallas rode a decent outing from starter Tony López to victory over the Portland Beavers at Waterfront Park. The final score was 5-2. The 'W' lifts Dallas's record to 64-58.
Masamichi Fujita delivered a big hit for the Texans. The veteran designated hitter belted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth. The longball put Dallas on top, 5-2. Overall, Fujita went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Fujita told a Dallas Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
