Tornadoes Lose to Mustangs, 7-4
|
Mile High third baseman Shunso Sato made his presence felt in the 7-4 Mustangs triumph over the Kansas City Tornadoes. Sato went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Alejandro Zorros, the winner, improved to 7-4. He held Kansas City to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. Mile High's record now stands at 56-58, placing them third in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division.
José Rea contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that helped Mile High get the win.
