Beavers Knock Off Hops at The Brew Stade
Portland and San Diego duked it out at The Brew Stade and the Beavers came out victorious.

The Portland Beavers trumped the San Diego Hops, 6-4, at The Brew Stade. Portland designated hitter Anuvaha Tasha was named player of the game for his performance. He went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Felipe De La Hoya got the win, improving to 4-4. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 5.

Tasha had a consequential at-bat in the top of the sixth for the Beavers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Portland trailing 1-0, he hit a grand slam.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Tasha told the Portland Citizen.

At 52-68, the Beavers are currently last in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
