Seattle beat Dallas on the strength of starter Song Wa's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Wa went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 4-11. George Fortin picked up the save for Seattle, his 28th of the year.
Sydney, Australia-born Baden Murphy came through in the clutch. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd and the Sasquatch trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to right-center to put Seattle on top.
"Song was Song," said Sasquatch manager Carl Best. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
Seattle is now 52-66.
