The Marauders had to overcome a good performance from San Francisco pitcher Edgardo Sáenz to claim a 4-1 win at Golden Gate Park. Sáenz went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Marcos León earned the save, his 26th. After today's action, Maple sits at 70-46, while San Francisco falls to 44-73.

Runs were hard to come by in this one. Will Southern's at-bat with one out in the top of the tenth, therefore, was critical. The Maple left fielder hit a 2-run double, to put his team on top, 3-1.
