The Cabo San Lucas Toreros beat the Bloomington Blazers, 9-2, at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park. The Toreros got a fine performance from first baseman George Guinn, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jesús Ramos earned the win for Cabo San Lucas. He lasted 7.1 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 6 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 1-3. The Toreros saw their win-loss record go to 52-65. At the same time, the Blazers fell to 59-58.
