The Dallas Texans dealt the Seattle Sasquatch a 5-2 loss at Metroplex Park. Tzu-yu Xuan was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner was Dallas reliever Josuke Fujihara, now 3-2. The loser was Dennis Montgomery. Adrien Clément, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 37th save.

Had Xuan not come through in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Xuan hit a run-scoring double. The Texans never looked back after taking the 3-2 lead.

"I felt good up there," said Xuan. "I saw the ball well."

Dallas bumps their record to 60-54 with the win.
