Black Knights Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
Brooklyn starter Elijah Green pitched effectively against the Hawaii Islanders at Aloha Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a 6-4 win. Green picked up the win for Brooklyn, going 7 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 11-6. The third-place Black Knights have won 4 straight.
Brooklyn center fielder Tom Hanson helped the Black Knights go up, 3-0, in the top of the third inning. With the game tied, Hanson hit a 3-run home run off Hawaii pitcher Alexis Garrett.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Brooklyn manager Diego Aguirre.
