Joe Hardy never let the Jacks get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Stogies to a 4-1 win. Havana has an impressive 82-33 record.
The fans who came in support of the Stogies were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at The Humidor.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Hardy told the Havana Daily.
