Losing Streak Continues for Sasquatch with 3-1 Loss to Beavers
|
The Seattle Sasquatch went down to defeat to Félix Reina and his Portland teammates. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the Beavers. Tim Stady Jr. closed the door for Portland, picking up his 17th save of the year. The losses continue to pile up for Seattle, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.
With a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the second inning, right fielder Rafael Cruz delivered big for the Beavers. Portland was leading 1-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Carl Best, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
