Eureka took the lead in the bottom of the first on a big hit from Ka-fei Bi. On a 1-0 fastball from Khurshid Durrani, Bi hit a 2-run triple. That made it 2-0, Hornets. For the day, Bi was 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Sheffield said.
